Even as the world appears more divided than ever, there remains one thing we can all agree on: FOOD is FUN! 

​

MAKE Projects uses food to break down barriers, nurture diversity, and create a positive impact on communities by bringing together San Diegans through its cafe and urban farm.

 

All the while, our social enterprise MAKE Cafe and Farm empowers refugee and immigrant women to improve their English conversation skills while gaining paid work experience and on-the-job training. ​​Each participant receives a 185-hour paid training experience.

Our goal is to change the lives of 40 participants in 2026!
