Welcome to MAKE Farm!

MAKE Farm is a half-acre urban farm in the heart of San Diego that follows sustainable agriculture practices. Through our Impact Program, participants gain essential job skills, while our fresh produce supplies our CSA Program.

CSA Program

​Enjoy sustainably grown local vegetables while supporting our mission to help refugee and immigrant women achieve their dreams.

During their 4-week subscription,
CSA members receive:

 
  • five (5) farm-fresh items each week
  • weekly e-letter describing what's in your box
  • an invitation to a fun seasonal gathering on the farm 
  • free tours of the garden every Saturday
  • 20% MAKE Projects Market Tote (forthcoming!)

Pick Up Locations and Times

  • Saturday through Wednesday 9am-7pm at Parkside Market (North Park) or Sahara Market (Normal Heights)

  • Saturdays from 9am-12pm at the farm (SDSU Mission Valley) 

Prices:

  • Pick Up: $20/week, or $80 for 4-week subscription

Farm Education

MAKE Farm offers engaging, hands-on learning for students of all ages, from toddlers to lifelong learners. Through field trips, camps, and workshops, visitors discover composting, biodiversity, food systems, and sustainable agriculture right where it happens.

School Field Trips:

Our field trip curriculum helps teachers bring learning to life through hands-on activities aligned with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). Programs vary by grade level and learning goals. Visit our Field Trip Information page to explore options for each grade range.

  • Between 9:00am - 1:00pm

Farm Camps:

MAKE Farm offers seasonal camps during school breaks and holidays. Kids explore gardening, sustainability, and creativity through hands-on projects, outdoor adventures, and farm-to-table cooking.
