Education Programs Manager

My name is Zahra, I have a bachelor's degree in economics, financial and banking sciences from the University of Sudan, and I am a mother of two children, one of them is diagnosed with autism. I have worked as a volunteer in school classes for children with autism, dispersion and hyperactivity and rehabilitation centers, and I have First Aid & CPR Certifications. I love children and the world of children. I like to spend time with them in nature because I believe that kids learn more from nature than inside a classroom.

Kelly Verakis
Farm and Gardens Manager
Kelly is an Agriculture Scientist turned Regenerative Farmer who brings curiosity, connection, and a science-based perspective to life on the farm. Her background in science has shaped how she farms, using observation and understanding of natural systems to work with the land rather than against it. At MAKE Camp, Kelly helps lead hands-on exploration of how soil, plants, animals, and people are all part of a living ecological system. With an emphasis on land stewardship, Kelly guides campers to understand our role in caring for the earth and how regenerative systems build resilience in our connection to the land.
