Martha, a recent graduate of Project CHOP, and hear about her experience! Martha shared that the opportunity here at MAKE Projects came at the perfect time where she was looking for the next opportunity in her life. She moved to San Diego from Tijuana at age 9 and was raised by her grandmother. She has wanted to compete with herself her whole life to be the next best version of herself. Martha said she wants others that have faced adversities in their lives to know “you are more than enough to be whoever you want to be.”
During her time at MAKE Projects Martha learned to trust her team, to lead with confidence, and to look for opportunities. She is now starting a job at the SD Airport as Administrative Assistant, Ground Support.
